Intervention Consulting Services

Because we know and understand the demands of our state’s accountability system, we offer cost-effective intervention services to schools with staff shortage, a high number of students in need of literacy intervention, or professional development needs.
EduPartners is here to give a helping hand to all those struggling readers and writers, but also to prepare, inspire, and empower those educators who teach from their heart.

Our Intervention Consulting Services consist of:

  • Initial consultation via phone, Skype, or face-to-face
  • 45-minute meetings with grade-level teachers to explain our framework and the intervention plan that will be followed
  • Diagnostic language and literacy assessments to individual students administered by classroom teachers and our interventionist(s)
  • Group configuration with classroom teachers and other school support staff, if applicable, based on assessment results
  • Small-group instruction modeling, observations, and reflections
  • Small-group literacy interventions led by classroom teachers, other school support personnel if applicable, and our interventionist(s)
  • Students’ progress-monitoring assessment and documentation
  • Open lines of communication and follow-up with teachers and school administrators via phone or e-mail during the time of service
We assist schools on the initial phase of the intervention process that includes diagnostic assessment, planning, and implementation. Once groups of students have been formed and intensive interventions are ready to start, the Lead Consultant concludes his or her job and only our interventionist(s) remain(s) on campus to proceed with the instruction and assist the school’s staff until the expected goals are met.
While these interventions take place, we continue to have open lines of communication with the school staff as needed to monitor progress and provide timely guidance. This is part of our open-door policy which is done as a token of appreciation and loyalty to our clients at no additional cost. If after some time the Lead Consultant is required to return to the school, rates will apply depending on the nature of the work performed.
We want to take this opportunity to inform that we are currently designing professional development for classroom teachers and school specialists based on our intervention framework which will be offered starting summer of 2018.

Service Requirements

  • School supplies and photocopying for the interventionist(s) must be provided by the school.
  • The school principal decides if our reading and/or writing intervention resources or those of the school will be used. However, our interventionist(s) still need(s) to use our reproducible materials to cover the rest of the intervention components.
  • If the school resources are not going to be used, intervention materials must be purchased separately based on school needs.
** Due to the high number of students with intervention needs, school administrators determine the number of students per group. **
Please note that it takes us about 4 to 5 weeks to start rendering our services once the agreement between the school and our firm has been made.
